ING Orange Savings Account rate up to 4.5%

ING Direct just announced an increase in the interest rate on their Orange Savings Account.  The account now yields an APR of 4.5%, much better than you will find in most brick and mortar banks!

The ING Direct Orange Savings account is a great tool to help you save for short term goals.  One of my favorite features of the account is that it allows you to easily set up a regular automatic draft from a linked checking account.  This feature makes saving easy and mindless.

Also, if you open a new ING account through a referral link with at least $250, ING Direct will reward you with a $25 bonus and the referrer will receive a $10 bonus!  After a month, you are free to withdraw the entire balance (and earn a guaranteed return of 10% on your $250 in one month!) or leave it there to compound at 4.5% and get a jump start on your emergency savings account or other savings goals.  To get a referral link, email [1] admin@quarterlifefinance.com and I’ll send you a referral link.

As I discussed earlier, a high-interest savings account like the Orange account is a great place to park short term funds, like your emergency savings fund or anything that you expect to spend in less than a year or two.

Again, if you would like to open an account, send me an email ([1] admin@quarterlifefinance.com) and I will get a referral link to you right away!
