Here is a quick deal for all of the pending college graduates out there:  enroll in United’s “College Plus” program prior to graduation, and you’ll get 10,000 free miles upon graduation.  That’s about a third of a domestic round-trip ticket for something you were planning on doing anyhow.  As far as I can tell, the program is valid for any level of college student - undergrad or graduate level - so long as you are a full time student.  Happy travels!
